The Hobbit : Extended Edition Release

Reporting from Warner Bros. big home entertainment presentation, The Digital Bits managed to dig out word of a very Lord of the Rings-like release pattern for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

To start off with, we’ve got the theatrical release this December, likely followed by a very predictable release of that cut to home entertainment in the early months of next year. Then, later in 2013, there’s to be another release, providing us with an extended cut.
